The villa is actually nicer than the pictures depicted. It is even better I would say than the web site showed. Very spacious and a real home from home and one cannot fault the cleanliness. Something of worth to note is it is gated so quite secure for dogs and children. Probably a bit difficult to find the first evening in the dark but that is not unusual. The kitchen has an adequate size and is quite well stocked. There are 3 good sized bedrooms - all very comfortable, 3 bathrooms so plenty for the 4 of us and a gorgeous pool and kept clean by the owners.
The house was down a dusty lane frequented by keen cyclists. Very nice as not far to the local town or the main road/motorway. Castiglione Del Lago was gorgeous - we visited both the lake and the old town regularly. The owners were very helpful. Came daily, kept their distance, but if we wanted anything they were only too willing to oblige. I would have no hesitation to recommend the villa.
